Designer: Garry Cohn
Design Team: Kris Smith, Lyudmila Tomova
This was a fun filled project designing an evening in celebration of the great sculpture Alexander Calder’s birthday. The concept of the project “Circus Oddities” helped to create the illusion of being under the big top tent whilst in the confines of the museum. Large antique circus bill boards and oversized cut outs of circus performers created the perfect back drop for the event. There was even a DJs booth complete with a sound system to dance amongst the exhibits honoring Alexander Calder.
