In the heart of New York City’s fashion district the Escada fashion house needed a new look for their younger fashion line showroom, Laurel. The concept of the space was to create the atmosphere of being in a Soho photographer’s studio loft. The design is minimal and void of color except for the clothes. Furthermore the showroom also emphasized that you are right in the middle of midtown Manhattan skyscrapers, by exposing all the windows and keeping them void of drapery, this helped reveal the scenic skyline as a backdrop to the clothing.
