Set in the west of Ireland, the Gallery Café Gort is a place of excellent food, art, music, and a lot of fun. Sarah Harty owner of Gallery Café, has a background in design, so needless to say we jumped at the chance to work with such an adventurous and creative client.
The brief was “Berlin after World War II”. We looked toward 1920’s -1930’s styles with faded out palettes & pops of post war aspirational glamour. Clashing patterns & eclectic mix of vintage & modern furniture knit together, creating a fusion of fashion & tradition we like to call “Granny Chic”.
